SUBSTITUTE CALLING SYSTEM - AESOP -

	REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBSTITUTING WITHIN SHIAWASSEE COUNTY Shiawassee RESD has partnered with PESG (Professional Educational Services Group, LLC) to employ our substitute teachers. You must be registered with Professional Education Services Group (PESG) to sub within Shiawassee County. To register for substitute teaching, contact PESG directly at www.subpass.com or 866-782-7277. All questions should be directed to PESG. The requirements for Substituting within Shiawassee County are one of the following: A copy of your valid Teaching Certificate 90 Semester credit hours or 135 Term from a 4 year accredited College or University (need Official Transcripts). Please note that Community College credits are only accepted if they have transferred to a 4 year accredited College or University. You will also need the following: Current Criminal History Background Check Attend Shiawassee County Mandatory Orientation and PESG Meeting Substitute Permit (If you do not have a valid teaching certificate the SRESD will apply for a Substitute Permit through the State. The State will invoice you directly for $45 which allows you to Substitute within the State of Michigan for the current school year).
	Please note that the Shiawassee County Orientation is over and above the PESG Meeting.
