PRESENTATION SUGGESTIONS
Please report to the school office 5 minutes prior to your speaking engagement. You will be met and escorted by a student representative from the classroom. 

The Classroom Speaker’s program is dedicated to developing career awareness in area youth by providing them with opportunities to see, hear and talk with successful examples like you.


Age Specific Suggestions

ELEMENTARY                                                                                                                                          

Length

15 to 30 minutes long (the younger the student, the shorter the attention span).


Visual Aids

Videotapes, overheads, posters, promotional items, or samples and hands-on materials will heighten the students’ interest and retention.

Length

Generally the entire class period, ranging from 40-55 minutes, or as indicated by the teacher.
