ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY
The A.T. (Assistive Technology ) team is comprised of teaching staff, a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, consultants for vision and technology and a social worker. The team meets monthly to identify technology needs of students and provide assistance in the use of low and high tech devices.
A lending library of assistive devices is located at the SRESD. Items may be borrowed for a four-week period to use with students in the classroom.
